Events

To date we have run a number of in-person events around East Lothian. Full recordings of most of these are available to watch on our private online community (which is free to register) at https://www.skool.com/future-farming-east-lothian-6539/about.

Where we can we publish presentations publicly on YouTube. Our event in early May 2026 generated two videos from Ed Horton who presented his 15 year transition to regenerative farming for his 3,500ha estate in Oxfordshire. The event went down extremely well with attendees. The presentation was aimed at a relatively knowledgeable farming audience:

Our last event at Lochhouses Farm on 27th May 2026 was: Farming with Nature: Understanding how to improve biodiversity for farm efficiency and resilience.

We plan to be at the Haddington Show and Royal Highland Show (Scottish Agroecology Partnership Tent) in June 2026.

Our next dedicated FFEL event will be in September 2026 and will focus on water management in times of excess and scarcity.

We will publish details of all future events here – they are likely to cover topics such as cover crop options, slecting suitable seed varieties and funding/finance opportunities.
